Some Boy Times
This year has proven to be quite busy with both kids in school 4 days a week but I still have Fridays with my little man and we are trying to make some fun memories. He has also started his first extra curricular activity-karate! It is so fitting to little Isaac. He is loving it and earned his first belt-white belt and two stripes. Ask him and it will make his day! Here are some shots of me and the little man.

Back to School
Now that the kids are back in school does anyone feel crazy?! I certainly do. The kids are doing great, but mommy seems a different story. We are all adjusting to the new schedule and the new preschool for Isaac. Everything as far as teachers and schools are great but I have just been super forgetful and a little flustered trying to keep up with it all. Nick turned to me the other night and said, "You should make some of your lists. I haven't seen you do that in awhile." That did help some and I think a couple weeks in makes a huge difference. Here are a couple of first day shots for the kids with our annual tradition of ice cream after!

Week #12- Jen's Week
This first week in August was a little different than the rest of the summer. I had the great priviledge of getting to participate in some special training that our company The Container Store provided for all employees before a new store opening. Since our store was moving down the street, they considered it like a new store opening. All week long the kids stayed with different friends while I went to work. First, it really made me appreciate good friends and family that helped in a time of need. A special thanks to Angie, Brenda, mom, and Rachel!! Second, it really made me appreciate all my working friends and hubby. Another special thanks to Nick who was fantastic in support and help that week! (It was tough working full time hours and coming home to responsibilities here with my family.) Finally, it really made me appreciate my company for investing so much in us. I had a great time learning so much, getting to see the inner workings of our company and corporate headquarters and meeting all kinds of wonderful and passionate people! This week the only pics I have are with co-workers new and more seasoned, pics of the food at our party, and pics of the CEO's. Please, if you have not come and seen our new store, do so! It's truly amazing and a gift to all of us!
