Fancy Nancy Tea Party

There is a precious book store near my sister's that puts on a special event twice a year. The springtime has been a Fancy Nancy tea party associated around the newest book this time it was "Fancy Nancy's Mermaid Ballet". We had so much fun dressing up the girls in true Fancy Nancy style (everything in your closet). They read the story, did a little performance, craft, and had a snack. It was just a sweet girly day. Thanks to all who made this possible as it took some shifting of schedules!

Easter-He has Risen!

Easter was nice and lowkey this year. We really went to church and came home to my parents and hung out. The day before Vivian had a soccer game so my sis and bro-in-law came with my niece and they ran through a quick easter egg hunt. Here's a couple shots from the fun weekend.

Bluebonnets!!!

This has been a beautiful year for the Bluebonnets thanks to rain and great spring temperatures. We tried a new patch this year, and it was a bright day unfortunately, but the kids were dressed so sweetly and Isaac really got into it. Check out a couple of family shots.

Our First Sport-Soccer!

Every season for awhile now, I've been asking Vivian if she would like to try any sport. She has only said soccer every time. A lot of friends play sports, but we are slower to enter them as I know once little man saw it both kids sports could easily take over our lives. We decided to start small with a 6 week program and it's proved really fun. I think Vivian found her position in the last game-goalie! Yes, Aunts and Uncles will be pleased as this is the most played position of all of Nick's fam. Here are a couple of shots of Vivian with her team and individual. She really is doing well, and mom and dad are enjoying it too. Brother cheers her on a little but really has gotten into the next door parks and a new friend Logan.

We are counting down the days until our newest little nephew arrives. We can't wait to meet this sailor! To celebrate, we threw my sis an Under the Sea Shower. This is her theme in her little boy's room. It was so fun putting special details in and pinterest got lots of digging for this one. Enjoy the pics!

Spring Break

This year for Spring Break we really wanted to take advantage of getting together with friends. Since starting school, it's been hard to get together and do our "normal" things. We had a really nice time hanging at home with our cousin, going to see the new movie "Lorax", and visiting some regular sites with other friends. We also made for a special trip this year- Sea World!! The kids and I had a blast. Enjoy the show.
