Welcome back to our blog. For some of you, you may not look until the summer when it's those long days we just try to make fun and fill up with bonding experiences which typically don't turn out nearly as pretty as they seem on paper. However, I am back to my themes and although I only have my little man at home we are trying to keep it interesting and somewhat educational. Really I'll do anything to avoid what is happening right now, video game mania! We did have some fun times including a trip to the zoo (focused on Texas Wild of course), a day of cooking apple pie, many puzzles and books read, some apple printing, a day at the bowling alley with the Harders (thanks for the call Christina!), a train party for little Lyla, a tooth lost, and a great breakfast. The only thing I missed getting pics of was the day my parents had Isaac. Thursday I got the priviledge of setting up a dorm at TCU campus for my store TCS. My parents in the mean time took Isaac out to the farm to ride Tex and see the new little chickens. They had a great time and were so gracious helping me out for work. Enjoy the slideshow! Well actually one more picture too. I am just going to post it below because I was so proud of my hubbie for doing this. They played a game of giving the Pig a Pancake with site words drawn on to brown paper pancakes. Check this out.

Field Day

So it's May the crazy end of the school year and just busy times ahead. I am just posting a couple of sweet shots of Isaac's end and Vivian's field day. More pics to come as Vivian wraps up school this week!

Christian's 1st Luau

Time is really flying and if I didn't already catch that my nephew is already one years old! WHAT? My sister did a great job on his little luau especially being in May when you have end of the year madness. Attached is a little slideshow from this fun day. Thanks again for making it special. So sad I didn't get any great shots of the sandbox set up outside! Oh well, Happy Birthday little man!

End of April

Wow! I just realized how shamefully behind I am on blogging on our world! Here are a few things that happened in the later part of April that I wanted to mostly put up pictures on. Tea party, for the girls at our church. Thank you Heather Mason you are phenomenal!!So sad I had to leave this early for work. Isaac and I enjoyed a few days left of his school before he gets out. Here I am with my little prince. Our annual Fancy Nancy party at my sister's local bookstore. It was over Earth Day this year. I love the green! Vivian and I ran our first 5K as many of you saw this pic on Facebook, but I thought I'd post it here too! Finally, the love of my life Nick celebrated his 35th and I was completely won over to the Food Truck park!

Easter Celebration

Easter is quickly becoming my favorite holiday. It has some commercialization but I think it's hard to miss all the signs of rebirth and hope, even nature is crying out with it. This year, we had some beautiful weather for Easter and the proceeding weekends. The slideshow shows some of our best memories from Easter. Enjoy!

Spring Break

As you saw, we had an awesome start to Spring Break with Vivian's birthday party. The rest of the time we took it fairly easy. We spent lots of mornings in pj's and afternoons just playing at parks. So blessed to have family near, we spent some time with our cousins at the parks and museums. We also were fortunate to have Gigi come visit at the end and get to see the beautiful Arboretum. If you've never been to Dallas to see it, it's worth the trip for the tulips! Check out our pics.
