For anyone not in Texas this summer, feel blessed! We have been breaking records for high temperatures including this past weekend up to 107. (Fortunately, this week we've gotten a little reprieve only making it into low 100's.) You start running out of creativity in the heat but I tell you nothing beats ice cream time. Vivi dressed up in her ice cream shirt and enjoyed a tasty treat, even trying to share with our nephew dog Oreo.

I think it has been hotter up there than here off the coast! At least here in Corpus Christi we average 10 - 20 miles per hour wind. Although, I think I would trade the wind for great friends like you in Fort Worth.
